Cinco de Mayo shoot at El Cortez

A few months ago, I had the pleasure to do a Cinco de Mayo shoot at El Cortez, the best Mexican restaurant in Edmonton! As an Edmonton Commercial Photographer, sometimes the best part of shooting for restaurants is that you actually can eat the food. Seriously, their guacamole is to die for. Have you tried?? It’s one of those dishes that you could eat everyday without any problem. Plus, I was in the kitchen when the chef made it, so now I know all the secret ingredients. But I can’t tell anyone, or he will kill me… or ban me from the restaurant (which is worse, haha!).

The decor of the shoot was realized by Robin from MCJ Events, and she did a fantastic job. I love those vibrant colours. They make me happy. Guacamole, tacos and bold colours make me very happy!

Enjoy these photos!

(Also, I decline all responsibility if these images make you hungry.)

The decoration by MCJ Events looked amazing!
