Discovering Culiniste

If you know me, you know I am not a passionate cook. I love food but I am so bad at cooking, and I think for me when it’s too complicated, I just don’t do it. Find a recipe, make a list of ingredients, going for the grocery shopping, buy everything, prepare all the ingredients, follow the recipe, manage the time, make sure I don’t burn anything, follow the steps, cook, etc… I’d rather go buy a takeout or just prepare something basic like a salad, pasta or… salad!

So, when a friend of mine told me about Culiniste, I was completely in. The idea is so smart and simple: they send you at home all the ingredients you need to cook a healthy and delicious meal. You can pick the subscription for 2 or four persons (perfect for families too). No rush to the grocery store, no excuse to eat fast food because everything is delivered at home. It’s pretty much the perfect solution for someone like me who works from home but still does not like to cook.

I cooked 3 meals: tostadas (vegetarian), pasta with salmon and lastly buttered pork (not pictured). All the recipes were delicious but I must say the tostadas were my favorite recipe.
