Photos inspired by The Tortured Poets Department by Taylor Swift

Whether you are a Taylor Swift fan or not, you can’t really deny her impact on our pop culture.

I listened to her new album “The Tortured Poets Department” and I loved certain songs, but I feel like this album is almost not for us, or the fans but this album was made for Taylor herself. I feel like she released her private journals and I find it hard to comment on it because it feels like peaking into her most deep intimate thoughts and I can’t judge another human being for the feelings they are feeling! Ha!

But this album made me think of some of the past photoshoots I did, and Taylor’s songs would make a perfect playlist for these images. So I decided to gather these photos and go down memory lane…

Like Taylor, let’s dive deep into our darkest, deepest thoughts with no shame or guilt. To relive the most intimate moments of our life is a gift, to reflect back on these moments feels like meeting the parts of ourselves we did not know we would befriend and then leave behind. Because in the end, we are always evolving and thank God, we have music, songs, photos, to take us back to these memories.

And here is one of Taylor’s album covers. What do you think? Are you up for some moody, and intimate portraits?
