I contacted Emilie to take photos of me for my website, after seeing some work she’d done for a friend of mine. I was drawn to her photography style: effortless yet intentional, elegant yet raw. I met with Emilie over Zoom to chat about the process and to get a feel for her as a photographer. As someone who is camera shy, I was nervous at the thought of getting my photo taken, but after meeting with Emilie I felt instantly calmer. Fast forward to the day-off and I can honestly say I had a total blast. Emilie directed me gently and confidently. I felt so comfortable in the studio, and best of all I had FUN. I recently received my gallery and I’m blown away by the photos. She captured me perfectly and honestly. We had such an amazing experience working with Emilie. We hired her for a team photoshoot and she worked so well with all of us, putting us all at ease and making us laugh along the way. Her organization and attention to detail was phenomenal and she really made the most of our time together by getting to know us, giving us advice on poses, fixing stray hairs etc. The gallery of images we received was stunning and Emilie was available to help answer our questions after the session as well. My experience working with Emilie from beginning to end was amazing. She was very organized and straight from booking to the end result I was super impressed with her professionalism and of course the end product! The day of the shoot Emilie made me feel super comfortable from the moment I walked in the door. Her energy is contagious and she really is your best hype woman!
